Similar to other games in this series, players can customize specific abilities, such as magic spells and summoning, according to their overall strategies. This version should appeal to new players and seasoned veterans alike. These include (but are not limited to) a modernized UI, automated battles, and an updated opera scene with improved vocal performances. The character graphics are in accordance with those created by Kazuko Shibuya. Thus, the remastered soundtrack was overseen by original composer Nobuo Uematsu.
